Palladium Presents the 15th Annual Bluegrass, Bidding & BBQ

Historic Columbia fundraiser to feature live music, silent auction and local barbecue

COLUMBIA, S.C., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 - Join Historic Columbia on March 21, 2019 for Palladium's 15th annual Bluegrass, Bidding & BBQ silent auction presented by Jaguar Land Rover Columbia!

Guests will enjoy live music by Willie Wells & the Blue Ridge Mountain Grass, Bone-In BBQ, specialty drinks and a variety of exciting auction items on the grounds of the Robert Mills House. All proceeds will benefit the educational programs and initiatives of Historic Columbia.

This event is so special to our organization because it allows us to share the mission of Historic Columbia with over 400 Midlands residents each year, says Grace Salter, president of the Palladium board. Bluegrass Bidding & BBQ is near and dear to my heart as it was this particular event that introduced me to Historic Columbia.

Last year's auction raised more than $15,000. Visit our Flickr page to see some images from last year's event. Have an auction item that you'd like to donate? Fill out this form or contact our Lauren King by email at or by phone at (803) 252-7742 ext. 15.

This event will take place on Thursday, March 21 from 7 - 10 p.m. on the grounds of the Robert Mills House (1601 Richland St.). Tickets are $30 for Palladium members, $40 for Historic Columbia members and $50 for non-members. All tickets are $50 at the door. Proceeds support Historic Columbia.
